Training Plans

Learning Pathways Members Can Navigate Themselves

Map the progression from new recruit to advanced qualification, and let members see where they sit, what they've finished, and what they're eligible to start next.

Progression through a brigade's training is rarely a straight line. A qualified firefighter might branch toward urban, wildfire, plantation, or arduous work. Crew Leader presupposes a qualified firefighter. The Driver stage needs a driving endorsement alongside the safe-approach course. That structure usually lives in a training officer's head, or in a document nobody has opened twice.

ReadyRoom turns it into pathways your brigade defines once β€” the stages within each one, the prerequisites between them, and how one pathway leads into the next.

Members then explore it themselves. The pathways map is coloured for whoever is looking at it: what they've completed, what's in progress, what they're eligible to start, and what stays locked until something else is done. No one has to ask where they stand.

  • Define pathways as ordered stages, with prerequisites that can reach across into other pathways
  • Members browse the pathways map coloured by their own status β€” completed, in progress, eligible, or locked
  • Prerequisites are visible up front, so a member can see exactly what stands between them and the next stage
  • Each member gets their own view of assigned plans and what's left to do
  • Training officers see who's in progress and can find the candidates ready for each stage
  • Download the pathways map as an SVG for noticeboards, handbooks, or brigade inductions

We'll help you map your pathways

Most brigades already know their progression β€” it has just never been written down in one place. The ReadyRoom team will help you translate your existing training structure into pathways and stages, prerequisites included, so members can start exploring it from day one.

More use cases

PPC Cleaning

Tracking PPC Cleaning β€” and Who's Left Without a Set

Know whose structure gear is away, how long cleaning really takes, and which members are waiting without a usable set β€” so a request for more sets comes with numbers attached.

Member Health

Your Brigade's Engagement Targets, Not Someone Else's

Set the standards that actually fit your brigade, and give your management team an early, fair picture of who's still engaged β€” while a quiet word can still make the difference.

Auditable Exposure Records for Presumptive Legislation

Capture every fireground exposure in a tamper-evident record so members' histories stand up under presumptive cancer legislation.
